A sweater goes a long way

You can make so many things out of an old sweater.
Here is my first example....a stocking cap.

It was so easy. Anyone can do it.

• Use a sweater with ribbing at the hem

• Cut the front and back of the hat

• Sew the seam with a stretch stitch

• Make a few yo-yo's, add them and the preppy gold buttons

• Wear your hat and be proud.... not only did you make it yourself, you saved the planet from from one more piece in the landfill.
