More Aprons

Here is my second apron posting. Sorry about the wait!
These are pinafores. What are pinafores, you ask? Well, they are decorative garments which are open in the back worn as protective aprons.

Spiral Pinafore:

Sent by Cousin Janie in Omaha from her mother Lila's collection
Orange and purple spiral pattern with purple hem band

Blue Floral Pinafore:

Sent by Aunt Marilyn in Ainsworth, from Grandma Margaret's collection
Calico flowers with electric blue binding

I remember Grma Margaret would wear an apron when she cooked fried chicken before going out to the far south pastures on Sunday mornings. I had a friend that made me a "his" & "her" apron set, they had surprises under the hand towel. I don't think I showed them to you as you were too young when I got them. And I don't think I would show them to you now either.
